APPLE
"Huracán Ramírez
vs.
La Piñata Enchilada"

"Huracán Ramírez vs. La Piñata Enchilada" revamps the long-lost genre of Lucha Libre films, that were huge in Mexico back in the 50's, in battle between good and evil, shot by the amazing Mexican-Spanish duo Los Pérez.



The campaign is also an opportunity to bring back into the spotlight the almighty Huracán Ramírez - the first Mexican Luchador "created" for a feature film back in 1953 (exactly 70 years ago). To build a surreal Piñata Enchilada Monster from scratch (btw, "enchilada" in Mexican slang means mad/furious) with the help of our talented friends at ONYX and interpreted by Douglas Tait (from many monster feature films). And to present an array of great real Luchadores and fictional, yet authentically Mexican, characters.
 

It's an amazing product demo that pushes the iPhone to its limits. Low Light, Cinematic Mode, Action Mode, Slo Mo, Durability... all put to the test in the longform and featured in a BTS film that combines product capabilities, Mexican culture and entertainment. Narrated by the most iconic voice of Mexican Lucha Libre: Leobardo Magadán.

LEGS TO FLY



According to UNICEF, there are 93 million disabled children in the world and within this whole universe, a specific group of disabled children that suffer with the absence of one of their lower limbs. According to the organization, this is one of the groups that suffers most marginalization from society.
We used children’s fertile imagination as well as the power of dreams and invited great sports celebrities (Neymar Jr., Marta Vieira, Gabriel Medina and Anderson Silva) to “donate their legs to children that wear prosthesis. Using 3D printing technology, we developed 3D identical model, in each detail, for lower limb of all the athletes that took part in the project.

INVISIBLE PLAYER



To launch a new sports portal we invited sports fans to test their knowledge by showing them a series of animations of famous plays without identifying who was making them. We then asked people to say which athletes were performing them. Everybody named famous male athletes, such as Neymar, Lebron James, Messi, Gabriel Medina, and more.
But when we revealed the original plays, a surprise: female athletes performed all of them.  The experiment became a video with the final message: “You might even know about sports. But if you didn’t get the answers right, you need to learn more about women’s power”.





APPLE
SWITCHERS



Apple wanted Android users to go ahead and switch to iPhone. But there's a real resistance when it comes to iPhone in some markets -- since not that many people have one, all sorts of unfounded "facts" begin to form around it. This campaign set out to show real people that were once doubters, but that made the switch and have never been happier with their choice. We cast, shot, edited, animated, mixed, and they're now a part of Apple's Switch to iPhone campaign rolling out globally.


L&PM
CONTORTIONIST



LP&M is a important publishing company in Brazil famous because of them pocket books.LP&M created a special serie, adapting the greastest authors of literature with books recognized for having a large volume to a pocket format. To Advertise this, the idea was make a striking image. We decide to use the authors that are easily identifiable by their readers, inserted in a smaller space. We photographed a real contortionist in many positions to find to perfect match with our needs and we search face models thar were more similar as possible of the face of authors.


ESPN APP
NEVER MISS A MOVE



Brazilian people love sports and watching sports of any kind. But, only soccer matches are broadcast on TV. There is a great difficult on following all the other modalities such as NBA and the Olympic Games.“Never Miss a Move” campaign shows to sports fans all the benefits of the ESPN App. With the app, they won’t miss any moment of the matches of the sports they like.



THE FIRST YEAR WITHOUT CARNAVAL IN BRAZIL.


To show how Brazilians felt in the first year of history without Carnival, we invited people involved in Carnaval Paredes to be photographed wearing their costumes in their homes. The sad feeling of having done the right thing.

I'm Raynier, a 39-year-old guy from Brasília, the capital of Brazil. Right now, I'm living in London and working as a Senior Art Director at TBWAMedia Arts Lab. In my portfolio, you'll find work from the past 13 years, where I've had the chance to team up with great people and amazing clients like Apple, L&PM, ESPN, Nissan, Hyundai, Natura, Telefónica Vivo, and more. I’ve been involved in projects ranging from local campaigns to regional and global ones, across all sorts of channels.

I'm all about creating ideas that get people thinking, make them laugh, or just feel something. Whether it's sparking change or becoming a part of pop culture, I love crafting things that leave a mark.

Outside of work, I'm really into cycling (BMX and MTB), fashion, houseplants, and exploring nature. I’m also hooked on YouTube review channels—whether it’s tech, comedy, retro gaming, vlogs, cute animals, or sneaker reviews, I’m all in.
